Effective Ideation
This phase was part of the 5 step mentioned in the previous entry. This lesson taught me to think out of the box when it comes to ideating a solution. There were 8 ground rules mention which when summarized basically meant ideation should mean no bounds, and to prioritize quantity over quality. One method introduced were ideating equations which gave us opportunities to combine 2 completely different keywords, one relating to the problem statement and the other completely random. The results were astounding; good ideas surfaced that were not taught of before and gave us better ideas on how to tackle our problem statement. We used this method to come up with a solution in the ideation phase of our problem statement.
